Lyrics

The Radio Fantazias were composed from a series of live recordings using a modified shortwave radio. The modifications allowed a direct audio output along with an audio input. The radio feed was passed into various sythesizers and effects, delay, phasers, reverbs etc and served as a basis for the subsequent variations - The Radio Fantazias. Other instruments were also played and modified during these sessions. These initial recordings were made between 1981 - 1986. 
From 1990 using, at that time, the emerging sampling technology the original source material was reworked into a series of modular sections which were then composed into the eight or nine? Radio Fantazias. The original album was released in 1994.
